JedEye Medics
JedEye Medics are healthy healers. The JedEye Medic program is designed for trainees in medicine and the healing arts to cultivate tools of resilience and resistance to remain healthy or regain health in the process of becoming healers.
JedEye Medics embody health and well-being that is built from the inside out. We share that inner asset liberally, without prejudice. Our intention is to harmonize bodies, minds, and spirit, along with relationships, communities, and our global ecology.
Module 1: We start with ourselves, thereby amplifying our potency and effectiveness in healing others and our worlds. We examine our values, priorities, and goals in order to cultivate integrity and focus. We develop physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual strength, flexibility, versatility, adaptability, and resilience. Through experience and reflection we understand that how we function in one arena is consistently reflected in every other aspect of our lives. We are committed to creating a joyful, peaceful process on our path to accessing the power of our innate wholeness.
Module 2: We develop skillfulness and harmony in our interpersonal relationships with intimate partners, family members, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and strangers. We study how to be clear, compassionate, and connecting in our communication. We practice awareness, assertiveness, and empathy. We nurture a respectful, deep way of relating to our sexuality, honoring the masculine and feminine aspects.
Module 3: We learn how to nourish our communities, engage in civic duties, and create the cultures in which we can thrive together. We contribute collectively as agents of healing to uplift everyone together.
Module 4: Together, in collaboration with our community, develop systems that shift an aspect of the culture and practice of medicine that supports the health of the healers and/or expands the scope of the healing arts to include the healing of our planet.
Although this program was designed with pre-medical students and medical students in mind, anyone can become a JedEye Medic. Anyone who values their own wisdom, knowledge, training, service, creativity, and contribution to the world more than their nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, financial status, or political power can be a JedEye Medic. JedEye Medics are students, children, teenagers, adults, drivers, waiters, gardeners, cleaners, cooks, artists, musicians, performers, clowns, actors, healers, writers, parents, poets, doctors, teachers, scientists, engineers, etc. Everyone is very welcome here.
