Dear Friends,
Draw/Paint Your UnPrescription
Please join us for The UnPrescription, an antidote to an algorithmic world. The UnPrescription is an introduction to various improvisational practices. These are reflective, joyful, healing, freeing sessions for anyone in a healing profession, or associated in any way, shape, manner, or form to anyone in the healing professions.
Participants will practice improvisational writing, dancing, singing, drumming, acting, cooking, and drawing/painting in one hour online live video sessions on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month 10-11am Pacific Time. Please join us and so many others from all around the world.
We begin this series on 9 April 2022 with Nate Barton facilitating improvisational drawing/painting. Nate is an artist who teaches art. He works in multiple mediums from oil pastels to watercolors, pen and ink, ceramics and wood. He has more than 25 years of experience and loves teaching nearly as much as he loves making art. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his wife and two sons. His works can be found on Instagram @etannotrab and on his wesbsite
What to bring:
Something to paint with.
Something that has ink. Sharpies are great.
Something else to add color, for example, oil pastels, colored pencils, crayons.
Don’t forget something, besides your walls, to draw or paint on.
If you don’t have any of these things, improvise! 🙂
Although there is no fee, we welcome your financial support to cover the cost of honoring the facilitators and hosting the series. And as always, I welcome your support for any of our efforts.

Because Dad Humor is Good Medicine
In honor of our creative spirits:
*The guy that invented the umbrella was gonna call it the brella……
….but he hesitated.
*Before the invention of the wheel……
….everything was a drag!
I invite each of you to submit a joke or a riddle for the next newsletter.
Looking forward, staying present,

Ending Racism Starts Within! In recent months especially, acts of police brutality, voter suppression, and backlash against kneeling in sports have highlighted the racism that continues to exist in not only the U.S. but all over the world. Black Lives Matter!
