Dear Friends,
Request Friends to Be Tiebreakers
The survey results are in with your preferences of when you want to resume our personal practices. Here are the results:
We need tiebreakers!
Here is the survey link to send to your friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers. Please ask them to respond by September 15 and we will be able to start in October.
I look forward to cultivating our well-being and resilience together with Beyond Asana (yoga poses, guided meditation, discussion of foundations of yoga) and Ji Juju (qi gong).
Walk Your Doc!
I’m adding to our practices the Walk Your Doc program. This is an opportunity to nurture your own fitness, create community connections, and get your doc out for a walk. Please submit a health related question which we can discuss for a few minutes as we walk.
Friday evenings at 5:30 PM PST
Saturday mornings at 11:30 AM PST
Contact me for meeting place or call-in information.
Please fill this liability waiver form prior to joining a class.
We start on 10 Sep 2021. Please let me know whenever you will be joining. Thanks!
Rinse and Repeat Your UnPrescription Next Saturday!
As part of Beyond Holistic’s UnPrescription program, I will be a guest facilitator on Saturday 11 September 2021 at 10am PST for Dr. Laurel Braitman’s Writing Medicine program hosted by Stanford University’s Medicine and the Muse Program. These are reflective writing sessions for anyone in or related in any way, shape, manner, or form to anyone practicing in the healing professions. There is no cost. Please join us and so many others from all around the world. Please sign up here for the log in information.
As always, I welcome your support for any of our efforts.
Because Humor is Good Medicine
Even “B/Dad humor”:
Q: Why was the math teacher late to work?
A: She took the rhombus.
Q: Why can’t you trust an atom?
A: Because they make up everything.
I invite each of you to submit a joke or a riddle for the next newsletter.
Looking forward, staying present,
Jayshree

Ending Racism Starts Within! In recent months especially, acts of police brutality, voter suppression, and backlash against kneeling in sports have highlighted the racism that continues to exist in not only the U.S. but all over the world. Black Lives Matter!
