Dear Friends,

Write Your UnPrescription
As part of Beyond Holistic’s UnPrescription program, I will be a guest facilitator on Saturday 28 August 2021 at 10am PST for Dr. Laurel Braitman’s Writing Medicine program hosted by Stanford University’s Medicine and the Muse Program. These are reflective writing sessions for anyone in or related in any way, shape, manner, or form to anyone practicing in the healing professions. There is no cost. Please join us and so many others from all around the world. Please sign up here for the log in information.

When do you want to resume yoga and qi gong practice?
If you haven’t already done so, please let me know the times and dates you’d be able to resume our personal practices through this very easy, very short form. Please respond by August 31 so we can start again sometime in September. I look forward to cultivating our well-being and resilience together with Beyond Asana (yoga poses, guided meditation, discussion of foundations of yoga) and Ji Juju (qi gong).

As always, I welcome your support for any of our efforts.

Humor is Good Medicine
Inspired by my dear friend Kathy Sartori of Fiscal Fitness, and because humor is good medicine, even “Dad humor”:

Q: What do you call a can opener that doesn’t work?
A: A can’t opener!

Q: Where do spiders seek health advice?
A: WebMD

I invite each of you to submit a joke or a riddle for the next newsletter.

Looking forward, staying present,

Jayshree
